This is a picture from my cork board in my classroom. This is little me as I was able to meet Marc Brown after winning a contest in 3rd grade. This picture encapsulates my life in a nutshell (as I am wearing my soccer uniform and meeting a literary hero): I went on to play Division I soccer, was an All American, majored in English with an emphasis in writing and now teach and coach my passions! Talk about living the dream!!!
